Location of this Cottage in Saranac Lake, New York

Nearest airport: Albany, NY
Beach Distance: 1/4Miles

Upper Saranac Lake is one of the largest lakes in the five million acre Adirondack Park, and boating and swimming are just a quarter of a mile away. Not much further is the St.Regis Wilderness Canoe Area where a canoe or kayak can take you into a quiet, serene area of lakes and ponds where you can hear the call of the loons, but be free of the sounds of motors. Yet civilization is not far away. The town of Saranac Lake is a 30 minute drive with charming shops and a fascinating history of lumberjacks, outdoor guides, and medical researchers. And Lake Placid, the site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, is a short distance away. One other attraction that is not to be missed is a The Wild Center in Tupper Lake. I is an award-winning living museum of the natural history of the Adirondacks.
